About Our Program

An area of the Lakeville Athletic Club has been used over many years for roller hockey and deckhockey.  Actually, shown here, a pair of Coach Chic's former NEHI Junior High School players are able to work on their hockey skills, mainly because that facility is awesome for use as either a gymnasium or as a roller training rink.  And, it is ideal for floorball play -- in size and because it already offers a great floor, boards and nets.

Lakeville AC is located in Lakeville, MA -- on Rte 18, about 3-miles south of the Middleboro Rotary and right near the intersection of Rte 105.

EXHIBITION SESSIONS

More details will be available shortly.  However, our aim is to hold a number of "exhibition sessions" early in 2011.  (There's much to be done on our side to make sure everything goes smoothly.)

These sessions will allow players of all ages and abilities to experiment with the floorball sticks and balls (initially supplied), just so players might see if the sport appeals to them.  We'll likely do some skill drilling, as well as hold a few scrimmages -- again, just for fun, and so that visitors can try this exciting new game.  Loaner equipment will be available, as will special deals on sticks and balls if players choose to purchase their own.  (Floorball equipment is fairly inexpensive in comparison to ice hockey gear.)  THESE EXHIBITION SESSIONS ARE FREE (but all participants must complete an application/waiver).

GAME SCHEDULE

It's our hope that we'll be able to develop a game schedule for at least a few age groups, with those games beginning in the spring of 2011.
